About Locked in Language

Find out who we are, what we do and how we can help you overcome develop your copywriting skills if you are a Solopreneur trying to craft your own promotional, marketing and advertising copy.

The Company

Locked in Language is dedicated to effective communications and caters for students from Grade 1 to 12 in our memberships, as well as Solopreneurs in our Business Writing Academy.

While most people can read, many do not understand what they read or have the skills to interpret and utilise the information they are given. According to the latest Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS) survey, 80% of South African Grade 4 learners are unable to read for meaning. While this affects their ability to cope academically in primary school, it also inhibits their chances of understanding more complex material in secondary school and their chances of getting into and coping with the rigours of tertiary education. Solving this issue is the foundation of our two memberships aimed, respectively, at Grades 1 to 6 and Grades 7 to 12.

Solopreneurs often don't realise the value of being able to write their own marketing, promotional and advertising copy and this is, sadly, a skill they neglect to their own, and their company's detriment. If you're ready to take charge of your own brand message, read on to see how we can help you.
